The Release of “Paradox: Existence Unveiled”

This month, thousands of hours of research, thought, writing and editing has culminated in the release of an important cornerstone for mankind’s understanding of existence. Writing a book wasn’t on my list of life goals when I was younger. I’ve always wanted to build things and leave philosophy to those with such inclination. I wasn’t far into adulthood when I came across the profoundly unique way of understanding our world and more. Back then, I could only see the intriguing tip of an iceberg but vowed to someday explore more of it and describe it to others. Twenty-five years later, I’ve explored enough of the Paradox to fill at least one book with meaningful information about it and its implications. Most of the book was written during the global catastrophe we know as the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic had some effects on my writing. Firstly, it made room for me to write. In March of 2020, I was given special access to the shuttered warehouse where my prototyping studio was located by the owner of the building. I converted my small shop into a writing studio and stopped accepting design clients for a while. I had the place to myself, as spooky as it was. Eventually the building sold and I had to move out, but I got a good year of writing done there. Second, the pandemic gave me a sense of urgency. During those first months, I could feel something transformational occurring in society and world politics. As I state in the preface of the book, we live in a time of shift. From the widespread rioting through Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, I could feel the devil chasing me with his pitchfork screaming, “Better hurry up and finish this while civilization is in one piece!” In a way you could say the turbulence of the past three years helped hasten the completion of this book. We all need motivation to complete life goals and I certainly found it in those chaotic times. I was lucky to have a supportive wife and two sweet kids to come home to each day, yet that gnawing feeling that I needed to sew up loose ends and maybe buy some ammo had me on edge. In the end, it was the subject I was writing about that ultimately offered me absolute centering and calm. Knowledge of the Paradox in the face of any situation, including widespread instability, puts one in the position of ultimate ownership and infinite possibility. After reciting its nine sentences, all occurrences take on a trivial, if not laughable substance. This isn’t to say that all occurrences are unimportant, but rather to say that all are imminent and that perspectives are subjective. Through the paradox of Nothing and Everything (NE), fate can be happily undertaken as we live our finest with the knowledge that we will see, do and be all.
